Environmental

Campbell & Paris is accustomed to helping airport sponsors manage complex airport development projects through the required and often times difficult environmental approval processes.  Our Environmental Assessments typically result in a federal Findings of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for projects ranging from runway extensions, obstruction removal and Navaid installations to a entirely new greenfield airport (new airport on a virgin site).  Our professional staff is thoroughly familiar with the federal and state procedures for preparing the required NEPA analyses and documentation including the specific environmental requirements associated with the FAA land acquisition process (i.e. Environmental Due Diligence Audits) and the preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and the associated construction permits.  From comprehensive evaluation of alternatives to effective mitigation programs, our staff work closely with the various regulatory agencies to achieve the sponsors overall goals.  Bridging the gap between environmental evaluation and construction, we routinely coordinate the multitude of federal, state and local environmental permits including NEPA Section 401/404 Wetland Disturbance, Coastal Zone Consistency, Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems, Spill Prevention Containment and Countermeasures, et cetera.
